How much room do I need for a party?
The track needs an area at least 8 feet by 15 feet. There also needs to be an area for the kids to build (varies by number of kids). If your event is outside and using tents, Ready Race needs at least two tents with a minimum area of 20'x40'.
Do the kids keep the Legos?
No. The Legos stay with Ready Race Party.

Can I do a party for my son who is turning 5?
Maybe. Most children turning 5 invite children who are still 4 to their parties. Some of the younger children will only have an attention span for 15 or 20 minutes. We suggest to wait a year or two until they have more interest and attention. However, if you decide this is the right party for your 5-year-old, you can choose to have the party.

How early do I need to schedule my event?
You can schedule your event at any time. As long as there is an opening, we will fit you in. Most events are scheduled 2 to 4 weeks in advance, but we also have some events scheduled 3 to 4 months in advance. The earlier you schedule, the more likely you will be to get the time and day you prefer. Fridays and Saturdays fill up first. We do not do events on Sundays.

How does the racing work? Do I need to set up races and give trophies?
The best Ready Race events are those that let the participants play at their own pace with emphasis on building and playing instead of setting up races and making sure that everyone races everyone else. By their nature, Lego cars will crash, break and fall apart. Kids usually love this and grab their pieces and try again. As they finish cars, they love to race with whoever is available. We encourage you to think of this event as a creative, imaginative, building event and less about racing (although there is definitely lots of racing.)

How long does the party last?
Parties typically last 60 minutes. Younger parties may be shorter. As your party is taking place, you can work with your Party Assistant to choose an ending time around 60 minutes.

What is a typical birthday party like?
Your Ready Race Party Assistant arrives 20 to 30 minutes before the start of your party to set up. Kids usually build and race for 60 minutes. After the racing portion of your party, the Ready Race Party Assistant will clean up and leave. You can continue your party with food/cake, presents and any other games you would like to do.

How do I pay? Can I pay with a credit card?
Payment is due at the time of your party and can be made by cash, check, venmo, or Paypal. You can pay with a credit card through Paypal.

How many kids can I have at my birthday party?
As long as you have enough room, you can have up to 25 kids at your birthday party. There is no "best" number. We've had great parties with a few kids and great parties with tons of kids. You can choose what works best for you.

How much does it cost if I don't live in Salt Lake County?
